Setup Guide
Get Influentia running in 10 minutes. No API keys needed — everything is bundled.
1 Download & Install
Download the app and unzip it to your Desktop:

After downloading
- Step 1: Double-click
influentia.zip → a folder named influentia appears. Open it.
- Step 2: Find
Install.command inside. Right-click it → click Open → click Open again when Mac warns you.
- Step 3: A black Terminal window opens. Click inside it, then type your Mac login password. You won't see dots or letters while typing — this is Mac's security feature. Press Enter.
- Step 4: Watch the text scroll. When it stops and you see a line like
$ or % at the bottom, the install is done. Close that Terminal window.
- Step 5: Influentia opens in your browser at
http://localhost:5555. You're in.
⚠️ Important:
• Do NOT open Terminal.app yourself and type commands.
• Right-click → Open on Install.command (not double-click the first time — Mac blocks it).
• The password field is blank while you type — type it anyway and press Enter.
💡 The whole install takes about 2–5 minutes. If you run into issues, email [email protected].
2 Activate Your License
When Influentia opens for the first time, you'll see a license entry screen:
- Paste your license key (the one from your email or the success page)
- Click Activate
- Influentia verifies your license and unlocks the dashboard
3 Connect LinkedIn
Influentia needs access to your LinkedIn account to scan for buyer signals and send messages:
- In the wizard, click "Connect LinkedIn"
- A browser window opens to LinkedIn's login page
- Log in normally (just like you would in Safari/Chrome)
- Once you see your LinkedIn feed, the connection is complete
- Close that browser window and return to Influentia
🔒 Privacy note: Your LinkedIn session is stored locally on your computer. Influentia never sees your password. LinkedIn sees actions coming from your IP, from your browser profile — indistinguishable from you doing it manually.
4 Define Your ICP
Tell Influentia who you're looking for. Be specific:
- What you sell: "I help B2B SaaS founders generate leads from LinkedIn"
- Who you help: "Founders at companies with 1-20 employees, $1k-10k MRR"
- Their pain: "Struggling with lead generation, no SDR team, burning out on outreach"
5 Run Your First Scan
Click "Scan Now" in the dashboard. Influentia will:
- Scan 12+ subreddits and LinkedIn comment threads for buyer-intent signals
- AI-scores each signal 0–10 for relevance to your ICP
- Drafts personalized replies for signals scored 8+
- Queues drafts in your approval inbox
- First scan takes about 5 minutes
✓ Review & Send
Your first drafts are waiting in the approval queue:
- Read each draft — edit anything that doesn't sound like you
- Click "Approve & Send" to send, or "Skip" to pass
- LinkedIn messages send from your account, on your IP, with human-like delays
- Reddit replies can auto-post overnight (optional, capped at 3/night)
What to expect
- Day 1-3: Influentia is learning your voice. Review every draft carefully and edit freely.
- Day 4-7: Drafts start sounding more like you. You'll spend less time editing.
- Week 2+: Replies come back. Expect 2-5 conversations per week with a well-defined ICP.
